About Us

Twin-Key Castings is a family business located on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. Doraine and Dave Carlson have been involved in the local creative arts community for the past 28 years. Their castings include home decor items, Christmas ornaments, wall hangings, garden art and much more. Each piece they produce involves extremely fine detail and provides a very realistic reproduction of a natural subject. They offer an endless array of eye pleasing color combinations and finishes.

Twin-Key has become best known for their sea life line that includes starfish, sand dollars, shells and more. Our free standing castings and fridge magnets can be found in galleries and gift shops across the country.

 We work with a natural casting material called drystone, a medium made exclusively for high resolution artistic reproductions. All other materials we use are totally environmentally responsible. No living creatures were harmed in any way while creating our "sea life" line.

Weddings have become a large part of our custom work and we cater to wedding planners. We offer customized pieces to match special themes, colours, or decor. Getting married "on the beach" is very popular and we can supply nautical wedding favors that will compliment any special occasion.
